Audiences are given a smartphone to direct them on an interactive multi-media promenade through the city. Their dependence on smartphones will be tested by technical failures and staged interventions that will encourage audiences to re-engage with the world. The interactive experiences choreograph the audience’s movements that are filmed and edited live. The Film, shown after our final technical error, will give insights into themselves and the places and people they missed while they were stuck inside their smartphones. Audiences will see aspects of their own behaviour, city and community that are often hidden.
