A mini-documentary – people living with a disability share stories about when someone used the ‘R’ word against them. They explain how the impact lingers and affects them years later.
Impact
The video was shown during the COVID-19 period when people with a disability reported increased verbal abuse. The video was used in a successful application for funding. The funding wil be used in an educational campaign to educate people about the impact the word has on people living with a disability.
